Meera International Films forayed in the media and production in the year 2002. Since then, it has been a part of film industry and fraternity with a long experience in the field of video making. We took Meera International Films under the wing of Look East Media in 2023. By merging the experience of Meera International Films and unique thinking of Look East Media, our video production unit is all prepared to leave its mark.

We intend to turn into a fully integrated entertainment company to cater various segments in the industry and provide wholesome entertainment to a wide range of audience.

Meera International Films was founded by Mr. Ashis Pandit (currently our CEO) who was involved with the production of movies like Swet Patharer Thala (National Award - Best Film on Family Welfare, 1992) and Charachar (National Award - Best Feature Film, 1993).

Meera International Films produced TV programs like Caribbean Diary (World Cup Cricket 2007 special travelogue from West Indies), Pasher Bari (international travel and living), Tero Theke Teish (youth oriented program), Kolkatar Diary (cultural round up for Bengalis in London), and many more series for TV channels like 24 Ghonta, Kolkata TV, R Plus, CTVN etc. in West Bengal, and for Bangla TV, a TV channel broadcasting from London. The studio made documentary films on Dev Anand in 2007 (for his autobiography release programs worldwide), on Sourav Ganguly in 2008 (for his felicitation ceremony in Kolkata), and on the temples of Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom, Cambodia (to show at the Indian Embassy in Pnom Penh).
